Harold

Harold is a very attractive, tan and white, Dutch, male rabbit. He was found wandering the streets and was taken to a vets, although posters were put up in the area no one came forward for him. He has now been with us several weeks and now looking for a new home. Harold is a friendly rabbit, we are unsure of his age but is fully grown and we can only guess he is a young adult. He is a friendly lad but not keen on being handled. He has been vaccinated against Myxi and Hvd and was neutered on 21/4/09 so will be able to be matched up with a female after 16/6/09.

Tori

Tori came to us via an Inspector, she was hasn’t had a great start to her life and this has taken a toll on her. She was kept in a small cage and never let out or handled, she had a deformed toe and was anorexic. We cannot do much for her toe but she has gained weight and technically is ready to be re-homed but needs a special understanding home as she can be grumpy and isn’t easy to handle. Tori is a black harlequin, medium sized lop, we don’t know how old she is but is now a fully grown adult so at least two years old. We wouldn’t recommend her to go with young children. She is vaccinated against Myxi and Hvd but is NOT neutered.

Justine and Gerty

Justine and Gerty are mother and daughter looking for a loving home together. Justine came to us as a stray after being found hoping down a very busy dual carriageway. Much to our surprise gave birth to 8 babies a week later. Justine is an agouti and white, Dutch x, she is friendly but can be a little protective of her daughter but hoping as she gets older she wont be as protective, we have no idea of her age. Gerty was born on 16/04/09 and is white and tan mixed breed, she is a friendly rabbit and with regular handling will make a wonderful pet. Justine and Gerty are inseparable they cuddle up with one another and follows each other around and would love them to stay together. Justine has been vaccinated against Myxi and Hvd, Gerty has been vaccinated against Myxi, neither of them are neutered.

Dolly

Dolly is a female, blue otter, mini lop. She came to us as her owner was unable to look after her any longer. She is a friendly rabbit but is a little skittish  and  gets spooked easily. One of our volunteers did surprise her and she did bite, but she has only done this once and we are not 100% sure if this was aggression or fear, she needs more handling and to go to a home without young children. She was born at the end of 2007 and has been vaccinated against Myxi and Hvd but has NOT been neutered.

Tessa

Tessa is a chunky, female, sooty fawn and white, mixed lop. Tessa has a unique feature as she isn’t sure if she is a lop or not, some days her ears are straight, other days her ears are down and occasionally she has one ear up and one ear down. Tessa came in via another branch with very limited details on her, we are unsure of her age, nor do we know why she came in to the RSPCA care. She is friendly but hasn’t had much handling, she will wriggle and scratch when picked up but this is because she is scared not because she in nasty. She came in with a respiratory problem which although has cleared up has left her with a cough. She needs an understanding home where someone will be patient with her and will give her the attention she needs. She is vaccinated against Myxi and Hvd but is NOT neutered.
