In March 2012 our accountant made us aware that we had less than 1 years running costs. We are a self funded branch run by mainly Committee members and Volunteers. Without all the fund raising done by everyone including the donations and support from the general public we would be unable to continue to help the hundreds of animals that come in to the branch and help the many people with reduced veterinary costs through our Clinic.
Please help us do some serious fund raising to help keep your local RSPCA branch, Clinic and Cattery open.
Our staff are game for anything and we are open for suggestions on what we can do to raise money. We are also pleading with members of the public and local RSPCA members to help fundraise for us and will offer all the help and support we can. We can provide collection tins, banners, support material, sponsor forms etc. We will also help publicise any event/sponsorship.
If you can:-
Arrange an event on our behalf
Could you be sponsored to do something
Are you able to offer us a stall at an event
Are you able to do a bootfair for us
Could you offer us something to raffle or auction
Could you donate good quality items to sell
Could you make something for us to sell
Please contact us with any suggestions or ideas
Our First Fundraisng Event Pyjama Week
Our first major fund raising event to help raise funds for the clinic was a silly idea of all the staff coming to work in their pyjamas for the week. Our outside volunteer were fantastic and got lots of sponsorship for cleaning the animals out whilst wearing their nightwear and with the wonderful support of our clients and general public our donation jar was full to the brim and our general sale also went well.
We raised a staggering £1109.95
Thank you for all your support
On the Saturday 1st October 2011
We would like to thank the Kast Family (Tony, Heidi, Sue, Alfie, Steve, Mercedes, Dhillian, Lousie and Ewan) Kathy McNaught, Phil, Heidi Brett and Nathan for all their hard work and support on our recent Yard Sale (1st Oct) & the fantastic cake makers (Mandy, Brenda, Jill, Sue & Kathy).
They all helped to raised £442.42
Their efforts are greatfully appreciated
A huge thank you to all that came and supported us
